The REI Women's Business Center is getting rapid updates and staying on top of the information released in regards to small business assistance programs available from the US Small Business Administration. The SBA is providing small business owners and non-profits impacted by COVID-19 the opportunity to obtain up to a $10,000 advance on their Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL). The advance will provide $1,000 per employee up to a maximum of $10,000. To apply for the EIDL Loan, please visit sba.gov/disaster.
You may also be eligible for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), which is available through participating lenders. The Interim Final Rule announcing additional eligibility criteria and requirements for certain loans for the PPP can be found here. To locate a PPP Lender, please visit sba.gov/paycheckprotection.
Information on all available resources offered through SBA can be found at sba.gov/coronavirus.
If you would like to request one-on-one business assistance, please fill out the REI Women's Business Center's Business Assessment Form and a team member will be in touch.
The REI Women's Business Center invites you to join them for a virtual training. In response to their small business survey, they have scheduled several virtual trainings to help during this transition time. Please let them know if you have any questions about a training or the Zoom platform. If you have not completed the Online Survey, please take 3 minutes to do so.
As we continue to work remotely, training workshops and networking events will be moved to an online ZOOM platform. All rescheduled events are posted on their website, updated on Facebook and you can always contact them at 800-658-2823.
