The Choctaw Nation Development Fund awarded Oasis Chiropractic & Laser Center with a $5,000 forgivable loan.
Oasis Chiropractic & Laser Center is owned and operated by Timothy Nix, who has over 20 years of experience. Nix spent years working in other businesses as a temporary provider before beginning to offer home-based services in 2023. In 2024, he moved to a store front and began offering services, including spinal adjustments, deep tissue healing and personalized pain management plans, two days a week in Red Oak.
Money from the Choctaw Development Fund helped Nix purchase a cellusphere machine, which helps increase blood circulation, skin tightening and cellulite reduction, and an emfocus, which is an electromagnetic shockwave therapy machine that stimulates healing of tissue and decreases inflammation, broadening the services he’s able to offer. His goal is to one day hire office staff and run Oasis as a full-time business.
