The Choctaw Development Fund awarded Javi’s Mexican Grill with a $5,000 forgivable loan.
Javi’s Mexican Grill is owned and operated by Jessica Hernandez in Clayton. Hernandez, who has 25 years of restaurant experience, opened the business in July 2025 and it’s quickly become a local favorite. Javi’s offers American-style breakfast options and Mexican favorites for lunch and dinner.
Money from the Choctaw Development Fund was used to purchase an air conditioning unit, making for a better experience for customers and employees alike.
Visit Javi’s Mexican Grill from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. seven days a week at 137 North Lawson Boulevard in Clayton.
