BROKEN BOW, Okla. - The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma awarded $119,800 to McCurtain County, $79,100 to the city of Broken Bow, $46,300 to the city of Idabel, $29,100 to the city of Garvin and $81,700 to the city of Hochatown from the Choctaw Nation Community Partnership Fund for the 2025 fiscal year.
The Choctaw Community Partnership Fund voluntarily contributes quarterly to towns, cities, and counties where the Choctaw Nation operates non-gaming businesses. The Fund aims to foster collaboration and growth within these communities by providing financial support for various projects. The communities have the flexibility to utilize the funds immediately for maintenance, road improvements, beautification, recreation, public safety, equipment needs or save the funds for more extensive future projects.
“The Choctaw Community Partnership Fund is an incredible asset of the Choctaw Nation, which allows us to have a direct impact in all communities across our reservation,” said Angel Rowland, Choctaw Development Fund manager. “We’re always excited to find ways to partner with our communities to create more opportunities and an enhanced quality of life for tribal members and residents.”
