Choctaw Nation awards Gangster’s Parrot Ice with $5,000 forgivable loan

The Choctaw Development Fund awarded Gangster’s Parrot Ice with a $5,000 forgivable loan.

Gangster’s Parrot Ice is a snow cone business owned and operated by Brittny and Blake Hamman in Clayton. Since buying the business in 2025, the Hamman’s have turned Gangster’s Parrot Ice into a mobile business, allowing them the ability to travel to events. In the future, they plan to expand their offerings to include coffee and other ice cream options.

Money from the Choctaw Development Fund was used to purchase essential infrastructure upgrades, including an HVAC unit and insulation.
